CHNYC Regattas
Coasters Harbor Navy Yacht Club
CHNYC and the Navy Marina are the hosts for three regattas during the 2008
season.
The Winslow Regatta is placed the in calendar between the Rhodes 19
Wednesday Night Summer and Fall Series and is open to all Rhodes 19 and
Shields one-design class keelboats.
The SORI regatta is sailed in Rhodes 19s by special athletes from approximately
15 teams from the northeast United States. Teams are invited by the Special
Olympics Rhode Island who is the organizational authority. CHNYC provides the
Race Committee and manages the on-water events.
The Naval War College is the organizing authority for the President's Cup Regatta.
